Reading Camp
In the summer, we gather together to host our annual Reading Camp. Dozens of students who have been referred to the program by their teachers join us for a week to grow in their ability and confidence as readers. We believe that kids learn to read best when they’re inspired by their interests and curiosity, and so we’ve brought in special guests from groups including the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, our local fencing club, and published authors.
For more information, or to get involved, contact our Reading Camp coordinator, Paula Davis.
